Libertarians have it wrong regarding dead cops & fewer citations

To the Libertarians cheering that dead cops are resulting in fewer citations, three things:

1) That’s not true. The fewer citations are a protest against DeBlasio.

2) A dead cop means benefits to the cop’s family for decades, while having to hire a new cop to replace said dead cop, all at the tax payer’s expense.

3) As a result of two dead cops, NYPD announced that from now on, 3 cops will work together per shift, as opposed to the usual two. Which will result in the need for more cops to cover the areas lacking police from the new strategy. Again, a cost to the tax payer. So an increase in tax cost + a larger number of cops = are you still cheering?
