David Crowley’s Death: Of course it’s already labeled a conspiracy

gray state

It was reported this weekend, that David Crowley was found dead at home with his wife & child, in what is being labeled a murder/suicide by authorities. David is best known for producing a trailer for his movie that has yet to be made titled “Gray State”. Here’s David’s description of the film: “The world reels with the turmoil of war, geological disaster, and economic collapse, while Americans continue to submerge themselves in illusions of safety and immunity. While rights are sold for security, the federal government, swollen with power, begins a systematic takeover of liberty in order to bring about a New World Order”. The target audience being anti-government, conspiracy theorists.

David’s trailer received over 150,000 views in its first week on YouTube, raising his profile within the Liberty movement. He was given a speaking slot at the Ron Paul Festival in 2012 down in Tampa, Florida.

Given the target audience for his film, David’s death is already being viewed as a conspiracy. Many people are saying they “knew” David, and that he couldn’t be capable of killing his own wife & child. While I don’t doubt that these people met David and maybe even sat next to him at a Liberty event, this doesn’t constitute as fully knowing who David Crowley is. You know of him, you don’t know the full man & what he is or isn’t capable of.

David joined the military in 2004 and served tours in Iraq & Afghanistan. Unfortunately, suicide is not uncommon for military vets. David also spent years trying to get his film off the ground. Facebook posts show that this past summer, he was excited at the possibility he finally met the right people to get this film made. It’s possible that nothing came of it and was devastated. There are a million possibilities of what could have lead to the reported murder/suicide.

On the other hand, what would be the motives for a government plot to kill David? If David was not close to getting his film made, all that would happen by this tragic incident is draw more eyes to his project. Why would the government want more people to become aware of this film if they’re supposedly afraid of it? David dying does not end the possibility of this film being made.

Even if David was successful in finding someone to finance & distribute the film, would that bother the government to the point of having him murdered? It wouldn’t be the first anti-government film to gain main stream success. One example, the movie Fahrenheit 9/11, suggested our own President knew ahead of time that we were going to be attacked on 9/11, and was distributed in theaters around the country.

While it wouldn’t shock me to learn that there’s more to this story, I don’t understand the knee-jerk reaction that it’s “gotta be a government conspiracy”. Could it be, that just maybe, anti-government folks are human too? That they also deal with personal issues that can sometimes be overwhelming?

David Crowley was liquidating his prop and costume business in September 2014. How was he going to make any movie if he had no props or costumes? He was liquidating his Bullet Exchange business in September; he had a large yard sale at his house in September 2014 that was advertised on Craig’s list, and according to the Director of Nutrition at the University of Minnesota who knew Komel, Komel quit her job, the only job that was producing income for the family. It seems pretty clear that the movie plans had ended. It almost sounds like the family was planning on relocating by September 2014.

Yeah, but, if the media and the authorities fail to investigate fully, and consider the very real and logical possibility that this was a hit, we’ll never know for sure, will we?

In fact, that they are so quick to attempt to debunk the conspiracy theorists, instead of actually investigating the incident, just adds more doubt to the official story.

In our system of jurisprudence the citizen is innocent until proven guilty. Crowley has been accused and convicted of murder and suicide, both of which are crimes, before a full investigation and without a fair trial.

Therefore, until the government proves its case that Crowley committed murder and then killed himself, we have to assume he was a victim, not a perpetrator.

It just seems to be strange that so many of these journalists of David’s ilk turn to suicide and murder of their families or have tragic “accidents” at such opportune moments. Phillip Marshall, Michael Hastings, Andrew Brietbart, and now, Mr. Crowley. I guess those who would be offended by their revelations are just “lucky.”

Lots of coincidences always seem to point to crazy citizens and a benign and benevolent government. How could we ever think the government would do anything wrong?

“It’s possible that nothing came of it and was devastated. There are a million possibilities of what could have lead to the reported murder/suicide.” — When a senator dies in a plane crash the forensics deserves close and intense attention. I did know the man and the forensics are not yet available. This case does indeed deserve close and intense examination. Why speculate about speculation?

it’s a message to anyone who might consider being “the next David Crowley”: you try and speak out = you will be killed. If you had a great deal of info and knowledge and learned that by releasing that great deal of info and knowledge to the public you would be at an actual risk of your life, would you still be as inclined to go public as you were before being told of the risk of death? the association is: “remember that David Crowley guy? Yeah. He got killed for trying to make that movie”. it’s about the nudging of the words “speaking out” and “death” closer and closer together until the ideas of doing just that- speaking out- becomes synonymous with the risk of being killed for such an action. Right now it would seem funny if I told you that walking around by yourself late at night is dangerous, but what happens when someone in your neighborhood gets killed for doing it? You’re going to think less of walking around at night by yourself, that’s what! The same goes for this Crowley scenario or any other act of government disobedience- you do it, you get punished. I consider myself to be brave, but I also consider myself to be cautious, and I for one might find myself hesitating if I realized my actions could get me killed.. but then again, I don’t have any secret or outstanding knowledge to divulge that might tear a hole in the system’s mask.
