You Might Be in Serfdom

Drawing upon the wit and wisdom (respectively) of Jeff Foxworthy and Friedrich Hayek, I respectfully offer the following conditions:

* If you’re walking down the sidewalk in Ferguson, Missouri and see these guys approaching you…

Ferguson1

…you might be in serfdom.

* If the means of getting more police into position to “protect the public” looks like this…

APC

…you might be in serfdom.

* If the FAA imposes a no-fly zone above Ferguson “to provide a safe environment for law enforcement activities,” then you might be in serfdom.

* When the police start arresting peaceful journalists covering the story, then you just might be in serfdom.

* When the same two political parties have controlled the White House since the Pierce Administration in 1853, you might be in serfdom.

* When you’re not sure if the following photo is from Iraq or Boston after the marathon bombing…

Boston

…then you just might be in serfdom.

* When your nation’s banking system is controlled by an institution that secretly funnels tens of billions of dollars to foreign banks without any oversight–since it can just create that money electronically with a keystroke–then you might be in serfdom.

* When the nation’s “newspaper of record” has a story openly discussing the president’s “secret kill list,” then you might be in serfdom.

* When this president has command of a fleet of flying killer robots…

…with which he claims the authority to kill even American citizens without trial anywhere on planet Earth, then you just might be in serfdom.

* When your government’s intelligence agency kidnaps foreigners, whisks them off to one of the secret prisons within its worldwide network, holds them indefinitely without charging them with a crime, and sometimes tortures them to death…then you might be in serfdom.

* When you have to undergo a full-body scan or R-rated pat down just to get on an airplane, you might be in serfdom.

* When your country holds the highest prison population on the planet–whether measuring per capita or in absolute size–then you might be in serfdom.

* When your government is found repeatedly lying about how much it is spying on innocent citizens’ ostensibly private communications, then you just might be in serfdom.

==> The sad thing is, one day the same people who laughed at “conspiracy theorists” for years are going to look around and be absolutely SHOCKED to discover they no longer live in a free country.
